Thread regarding CenturyLink layoffs

Storm Damage

Gonna be interesting to see how Jeff and the boys deal with the storm damage in the south. We don't even have enough techs to do regular work anymore.

Maybe he will send us down to help out and say the heck with everyone else. Wait times will go from five to six weeks for service to five to six months.

Who knows, maybe this hurricane will be the last straw in the CTL local side coffin.

Stuck my neck out and asked the MRO why they didn't ask for storm break volunteers. Already knew the answer but wanted to see what the official version was. They haven't asked for our help. LOL.

These Level 3 managers and up could mess up a junk yard. Shame on the legacy Centurylink higher ups for allowing this disaster to happen. All these decisions being made without thinking them through only makes it harder on the techs that are left. Someone needs to grow a pair and step up to the plate for these dedicated employees. Nothing but a bunch of sheep and that is a shame.

All the guys that lost their jobs at CenturyLink should run out and buy a bucket truck and some tools and go down and rape CenturyLink for doing restoral work.

For years when a storm was coming we were asked in mid-atlantic for volunteers before it hit. Not a word.
