Bartlesville survives another year, how long can they continue to survive? If you live and work in Bartlesville and you are not close to retirement age then transfer to Houston or go to work for another company if you can sell your home. One thing for sure is Conoco will withdraw from Bartlesville sooner or later.

Yeah PSX follows the leaders... that's why there are so many other downstream companies who have Refining, Midstream, and Chemicals businesses...oh wait, there aren't? Weird.

Come on, there is an easy answer here. They aren’t going to close Bartlesville because they need a temporary base for when global warming wipes out Houston in a few years. They need somewhere to operate out of till they figure out where the other oil companies are opening so they can copy-cat, because that’s what COP (and PSX) does - stay behind and follow the leaders.
Bartlesville is where ConocoPhillips started. It’s the birthplace. It needs to stay over for historical purposes. Phillips bought ConocoPhillips in 2002. Phillips was 30% larger at the time. The poster is a ConocoPhillips person who hats Phillips. Why does he care if they shut it down or not?
Incompetence, exactly what is expected from Bartlesville. One posing as one of us the other as a person that knows, both probably the same person. You can't change your destiny.
