They said no Softlayer or Truven would be laid off when they acquired them.
Care to guess how that turned out?
The way it will be spun is that they will keep the total number in the area constant. The truth will be they will lay off an existing ibm're for every Red Hat they retain.
And I have some really good swamp land I would like to sell that is not in a flood plain.
They have to be hit. Big time. It's customary.
The key qualifier here is "planned". (As in, currently "planned").
