I would have to agree with that. I would assume RHEL customers would want to find an alternative now that IBM is buying Red Hat and the RHEL distro. IBM has had a very poor track record buying companies and not destroying them. The exception is probably Datapower.
It is going to be interesting to see how this acquisition is going to play out. There is a lot of overlap between the two companies:
JBOSS -> WebSphere
Red Hat cloud -> IBM Cloud
OpenShift -> ICP
... to name a few. IBM will have to make a decision at some point what to keep and what to jettison.
