@nni In-car pickup has always been very glitchy. The app has a lot of trouble recognizing that you are at the store. Connect to store WiFi, disconnect from store WiFi, sign out of the app, sign back into the app, force-stop the app, restart the app, restart your whole phone, etc... in just the right sequence of doing these things (which I'm not sure what that right sequence is), maybe it will work that one time, but not necessarily. Going inside to use the kiosk with the broken PIN pad and sit in the chairs with damaged cushions is a much less frustrating experience.
I can't believe the court allows this to continue. I was sure the points I had would be worthless as soon as they filed bankruptcy so I used them. Hell I might get my last installment of $25.00 due on Nov 20.
Better get them SYW points in before they are lost..... only business i know that calls there shoppers members lol, I got a member for yah-what next call thier craftsman shoppers tools? what a mistake
The SYWR program should be used as a teaching example of how to run a billion dollar company into the ground.
Points are best left for grocery stores, and that’s where they should’ve stayed.

I wondered about the partner programs too. Problem is that the points are only good at Sears and Kmart so with no suppliers, there's going to be an issue.

Unfortunately Leena thought the points that expired and the points issued by Citi would save SHC
what about all the partner programs? (serious question). I thought the point of this was to develop a loyalty program that would help the digital transformation. Sorry, I don't understand all the digital stuff, but this gave me some hope that Sears would survive in some form.

sywr is one of the biggest margin drains of SHC and has done very little to attract new customers.
Traditional marketing (among other things) was cut while I worked there to fund sywr.
It’s funny to hear Eddie talk about all the things SHC had done first. A great example is in car store pick up. Yes SHC May have actually been the first to offer this but if you don’t tell anyone what’s the point. Still not sure this would have been a draw at sears but Kmart would have.
Instead all SYWR was about collecting data and getting people who already shop with us to shop more. The data was so convoluted it was not actionable on a large scale. Additionally the pints system opened us up to cherry picking and people working the system to get something for little or nothing.
Sywr was forced on everyone. If you did happen to refer to a customer as a customer and not member, there would be lecture and a-- chewing. Very dictator like.
The staff for sywr is also insane. Nothing against anyone who works there they did not appropriate the staff count.
Many of the tasks were simply regurgitating what business were already doing.
No brainer - in the coming weeks there will be 200+ newly minted unemployed 😄😄😄

Once liquidation begins SYW is done. Get out now. This idea that SYW has some value is insanty.
I just saw on the Today show that Target , Walmart and Amazon have all ready started their holiday sales at near black friday pricing of 40% off . I went to a Sears store closing here and found that their store closing prices on appliances were no better than Lowe's every day prices . I also read that the 400 safe stores are being put up for auction .
