I have heard mixed answers. I have been with dxc/legacy company for several years. At what point in 2018 do I get the company match for the calendar year 2018? Assuming they screw you into it being January 2019?

I agree with the last poster. If you have a boneafide offer, leave and don't look back. Good Luck to All!!!
You MOVE and give up the Match.
You wont miss it with new wage, raises and benefits. You also have a job the following year which may not be the case if you stay. When I left the match was at most 3% (50% of the first 6%). Cost of living increase in US is 2.8% and if you got no raise, you are down to a .2%. If make $100K that is only a loss of $200. How is that even a consideration ?
So what do I do if new opportunity is going to request I move earlier?
So it appears that if you survive the upcoming WFRs and are still "employed" on DXC on 31 December 2018 then you will receive the employers match sometime in late January.
Good luck all...
Basically you must be employed by DXC on 31 December 2018.
From the DXC TECHNOLOGY MATCHED ASSET PLAN SUMMARY PLAN DESCRIPTION AND PROSPECTUS
