Something will have to give, and it's not increased sales and revenue. The watershed may not happen until fall or 2020 though. I don't think we make it through 2020 without 30% less employees. It might actually make the company run better if they do it right, but they won't.

The company thinks older employees training new grads is the way to go. I understand building a future base for the company, but doing at the expense of older workers is not good because the new grads are not going to stay with a dying company.

Three blind mice can see a layoff coming in 2019. Cheaper to hire new grads vs keep paying the older engineers for their years of experience. Nothing personal. Just business life cycle. Typically seen a veep before a layoff. How do I know? I used to be that newbie, hired around a layoff and downsizing quartet. Now I’m the older experience waiting for that midweek call and package while training that newbie.
