Massive cuts and layoffs in the works for Power. The layoffs are far from over so keep drinking the Union Koolaid that the layoffs are over. Far from over! I should of volunteered for the layoff but I am sure the next layoff will hit my seniority number plus some. 100 more are going out the door soon me and 99 more.

T Rate is the new GE in Schenectady we voted in the new pay scale in fear for our jobs. We gave ourselves a raise and screwed the d rates with the cushy jobs.

To say the 300 people that got laid off took every job out there shows that ge is over paying the t rates on the basis of their lack of intelligence. If it’s so bad and greener on the other side just leave. Someone will gladly take your job.
@VTgY1Bk-2ozq The T-Rates have been taking all of the available jobs outside of GE since we've been getting laid off. There will be no jobs left for you D-Rates to apply for once GE gives you the boot. Enjoy being on the streets!! If you're lucky enough to find a job, a T-Rate will probably be your senior!! Karma is coming for you!!!

I smell more layoffs coming soon. I am glad I am at the bottom of the seniority list. Glad to see stocks drop lower after laying off a bunch of good people. Must be corporate greed getting what it deserves. Ha Ha Ha
Who are these id--ts who keep posting how miserable they are working for ge. If it’s really that bad stop wasting time on here and write a resume to work somewhere else. We are sick of hearing you cry and gladly accepting a paycheck. Make room for someone else.
This is an at-well company. You did not get drafted or forced to work here. It’s a pretty good company going thru a very bad situation but you still enjoy your paycheck. So either START doing your job or QUIT. Yes, the grass is greener on the other side, please do the rest of us a favor and leave so we can get back to work!

Pretty soon we're all going to know what it's like to waste our lives working for and believing in a lie. It's all been for nothing more than a overblown paycheck and promises of better days to come. Starting over somewhere else after nearly 15 years is going to seriously blow!!!
You know you could have wrote a resume about your time working at McDonalds and gotten back in there in the time you wasted on this post.

@rna no, actually the HA troubles had little to do with this. This is a perfect storm made from the sum of many mistakes, whose consequences are arriving simultaneously.
