Any news on Canada? I think there will be a 2nd wave in 2020
The severance pay is based on your years of service. I just got my notice that I’m being laid off as well as a lot of others in Phoenix.
There's word the J P Morgan Chase Auto branch in Wilmington, DE will be shutting down soon and positions will be moved to Dallas Fort Worth. Hiring has been on hold for over a year and no new advancement opportunities have been posted. Chase Auto will no longer be working with Mazda in 2020.
Anyone have experience with the Severance Pay?
JPM Investment management in Newark Delaware has eliminated almost all US operations staff to offshore to India over the course of this year at a faster pace than I have seen anything else be moved. Remaining staff is being cut by 12/31/19 but yet there is all sorts of positive news reports about the job creation due to coming branches. Nothing mentions the number being let go that well out numbers the new jobs being created. Nothing is also mentioned about the pay of the new positions being 1/3 or more less than those being released and due to the skill sets and knowledge being branches have not existed in Delaware it limits the ability for any internal losing their job to obtain one of these positions.
Anyone have any knowledge about mid-Oct staff cuts in Columbus Easton Office?
The organization is racist and it discriminates against older workers. There are a lot better jobs than that place. Sending jobs oversees will eventually catch up to them.
My roommate was given her layoff notice for the new center in Tempe, AZ, effective in October (so, 60 days). Not sure what benefits she will be given but she's hysterical atm.
More layoffs in AZ and FL all Canada reps and then more US. Being told it's based on score card but it's not, they're letting go top performers too and SS3's No one is safe. Cebu opening has cut massive jobs
There were layoffs in Firmwide Financial Accounting and Reporting earlier this year in my building in Newark, DE. Since then, my ED was laid off, and we wee told there will be double digit layoffs sometime this fall. This is in Newark Corp. Center in FFAR or what is now called FAIR.
Heard Columbus Underwriting will have “business Discussion” come August at which time a culling will occur. Then another in October for another round. Why not, CHASE has off-shore personnel handling initial Underwriting, AML quality control, and Collateral Review processes for the last 10 years. Nothing like having your private financials going to another country, where no uUS income tax is paid. Just waiting for the first inside fraud to occur. Classic example when Jamie was on the hill being pressed about Chase Irving employee working for peanuts. Mr 31 Million $$ didn’t have an answer, he must have forgot that he pays His Philippine QC people a whopping $6k per year to do similar work....
Columbus got it yesterday. After 26 years!! Invest in out employees! What a crock of c-ap!
We've had layoffs from the Milwaukee campus over the past 2 days. Unfortunately, it's seems to be isolated to just the Underwriting Department.
Just laid off 20% site wide in Milwaukee home equity today
In the past month let go of all loan originators in Wisconsin. No internal job postings for loan originators. Letting people go and increased written warnings for production. Rumors that all underwriting going to the Philippines. Next layoffs to origination in the Midwest. Increased staff in call center. Duplication of Quicken model.
Jpmorgan Chase terminated hundreds possibly thousands of employees today from their Jersey City location GTI business. Meanwhile their stock still trading g at $112. Per share. They also received huge tax incentives from the state and federal.
Is this hitting Plano tech teams?
It’s all over! They are hiding the massive layoffs inside what is Refered to as a location strategy. Everyone who is client facing
Thanks to.Trump.for reducing Corp tax haha
Started layoff in Mortgage origination for all sale persons who did not meet new sales goals initiated last month. Major culling of saturated sales force, keeping only their highest earners. At least they waited until after the Holidays!
This post was showing on another threat. 12 hours ago. But didn’t indicate where.
(It was rumored there would be layoffs tomorrow, the 20th. We shall see.)
They dont need them most of the depts like cas, QC etc were created by obama as a temporary halt during recovery. I still dont get why they think they are safe.
Overheard a large number for Chase severance budget in 2019. The party is over for Mortgage Banking and reductions are going to continue based on the level of reduction in mortgage apps. Do your job the best you can. That is the only thing you can control.
India is $$$safe, that I know!! Question: why is that we have very small work teams 3 or 4 in US, so small that you can count them with one hand and not to use all fingers, LOL
in contrast the same work teams overseas by the 100's, kudos to all the recruiters that work for this swampy Bank
No redundancy waves heard in the next 2-3 months in Asia.
Unsure if next Feb 2019 onwards.
Is been quite here in Hub Phoenix on Home Lending. Last layoff here was 10-2 just keep hearing rumors. Hope they stop laying off and keep jobs here in USA.
