Is it just me or are they piling on the work recently? It seems like we have been given so many meaningless tasks lately that it’s nearly impossible to keep up with everything. This coupled with the big payroll cuts it’s starting to feel like an impossible job...

Payroll cuts are true, was told to cut payroll even though the store had inventory & 2 day sale & putting in late adoptions. Told them not happening unless someone from the castle wants to come & provide ‘hassle free shopping’. They are clueless out there & only worried about their bonuses.
Big payroll cuts? That is completely false, not happening. The trolls that post this kind of stuff on here - don’t even work for the company, I am afraid.
Paper awards are mean nothing unless they are $$$ which doesn't happen at Follett. We dont need awards that scream I'm am id--t for busting my a** and still not appreciated.

Yes that is exactly what's happening. Just wait for more empty promises and staff layoffs . Part timers won't wait around for hours when they can grab a job at hire wages. Skids of books will remain on sales floor. Not what they promised when I hired in! Shame on me for believing.
