After the last round of layoffs, a lot of MDs and their teams are floating around! This can’t be over until evert single employee has all dots connected to DC! But we are fast approaching November and there are still lots of ambiguity!

They are totally unprepared and all is improvised to make the savings required; never saw that before in my (long) career. Complete mess in some parts of the org with people nominated but willing to leave, people not qualified for the role (also asking to be made redundant), no job roles or operating model ... leadership/charisma disappeared completely.
I am just surprised at the approach of the Management. No big broadcast to address the layoffs and lift up the spirits. Either negligence (doubtfully) or there's more to come. The moral is really low at the office.
