Not impressed with PKA at all. He ruined a perfectly good company with micromanagement and CMS. He did take CB&I to a new level, went from a engineering to a construction company. It does not matter how much you make if you cannot sustain it.

The moral of the story is pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered.

Typical greedy corporate America. It is not about the shareholders, it is about the executives.

I still b--ch about having my flex days taken from me. But you aren't listening. You didn't listen. That was just one baby step MDR took toward the cliff it is about to fall off. But you don't understand. Keep reading, maybe you'll get it.

I'm sure that the "pro" PKA is just devastated over the corporate immolation that happened under his watch. Hopefully the many tears that he's shed haven't dripped upon and ruined the $millions that he received for doing such a bangup job.

Re “Leadership,” PKA was a pro. Transformed the business from a tank builder to a formidable EPC that was a thorn in the side Fluor etc. Got Buffet to buy in. And demonstrated world class marketing skills. But ultimately some very bad bets ended the party.

The new mgmt is beleagured. Purchased said party after the champagne was drunk and the hangover set in. Obviously a lack of due diligence. The marketing externally is inauthentic. The analysts are not remotely convinced. The internal marketing is not resonating. The win strategy has been tainted with questionable conflicts of interest. Typically mergers follow the track of Wonder, Thunder, Blunder, then Plunder. Already at the Blunder phase.

You have no moral right to a job. MII has no moral obligation to pay you. They can lay you off and pay someone cheaper in India. And they will. And they will enrich themselves. Welcome to globalization. That's how the rules are written, by he who has the gold to help him get more gold. Walmart forced their sellers to move supply chains to China, you were told that cheap Schwinn bikes were good for you, good for the American economy. And you believed it. Your turn is coming. Soon. But moral right and economic power aren't the same as political power. Welcome to the 2016 election.

MII is in the USA only to be near its oilco customers. They have no loyalty to you or your community. Consider your jobs in Nov.
