Go thru list of MCM. There are at least 5-6 senior execs who can simply vanish and nothing will be affected. They add zero (actually negative) value. Same for at least 150 VPs.

This right here will save the company ~$180M annually and significantly streamline work and add more focus to the company. Enough of NTG, drones, sports, labs and other zero ROI groups.
Agree with OP that these top end slugs who add no value should be burned first. Unfortunately they never are. The plan will always be the same. Get rid of gobs of grades 6-9 since you can always slowly promote people to these levels when needed. The Boys' Club stays intact.

Very true, it will be the minions who get sacked whereas the senior execs mint money while preaching ethics and management bs
You all know it will be the hard working - stuck at Grade 6 or 7 for years - not willing or able to play politics - people who get the sack first... Obviously that will harm daily operation, but until then somebody will have got a promotion to VP out of it for awesome slimming down efforts.
