No mattress orders coming in , no appliances coming in ! If customers go elsewhere to purchase item , when or how long does it take to regain lost sales ?

Yeah we got some on our truck the other day. However they were so bashed up (whoever loaded the truck did the worst job imaginable) that those customers are going to demand their money back as soon as they come to collect.
Anyone else seeing big ticket customer orders arriving for pickup on trucks?

We got our appliance truck today with member orders. First time in weeks.
If anyone wants to use Sears credit, make sure you tell them not to. They should use a branded Visa or Mastercard with purchase protection. That way, they can at least get their money back. No cash, and no checks.

That's what I thought.......Neither will your customers. As a matter of fact, they gave up YEARS ago.
Worse, if they go chapter 7, no product and no refunds. Customers become unsecured creditors.
They told us today that the mattress problem has been solved. I really don't feel right selling mattresses or appliances that may or may not come in. We have been told this before for mattresses and appliances and then there are delays, deliveries pushed back, product pulled. And then some of the stuff comes in and others we have to cancel. THis time I don't believe corporate when they say product will now start coming in. Just look at the list of vendors and creditors that have filed to get paid on Prime Clerk and you will see that for vendors to ship is insane.
I think they are telling us that product is coming and to sell so they can get the cash for short term and then they will cancel the orders when the liquidating stores start bringing in cash. Many of us have been working for free for over two weeks.
