Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Offering division - does it really add value?

We see a ton of money wasted in new offering and collateral etc. - does anybody look to see if any customer is signing up for any of those so called offerings? None of these are usable in the field, just a bunch of slide decks. .... And thousands of people hiding behind this (predominantly legacy eds cronies) - has the csc folks had a look into this yet? May be a good place to streamline.

Makes me laugh, CSC people say DXC is run by ES people and ES people say its run by CSC.

Actually, the truth is, its run by neither, its run by Mikey. He attempts to micromanage down to a ridiculous level and where he can't he just tells people to make no decisions whatsoever.

Its an absolute dictatorship.

In a functioning organisation, the merger would have resulted in some reshufffles followed by the thing achieving stability.

There is no stability on the horizon and its deliberate.

So don't blame CSC/ES people, blame Mikey. Direct your hatred at him and his HR GF.

Does the Offering division offer WFRs? Otherwise the division is an oxymoron as it offers nothing but invisible cow dung.

Words like Blockchain and data-driven mean that the W@nk word bingo chart needs to be increased in size.

DXC is now run by the Chicken Soup Company (CSC) rejects.

New buzzword is BLOCKCHAIN - Not just bitcoin, but a huge transactional database shared across a global network. As DXC is currently in bits right now, then it only need to coin the phrase.

DATA-DRIVEN. I've yet to see DXC use data anlalystics to demonstate quantifiable performance; predictive analysis and real business intelligence. Although they keep talking, which I predict will continue until they've spoken enough to analyse what they've said and predict what they will continue to say. Which is not much.

Digital was there several years ago before the company transformed itself to Compaq, HP, HPE and now DXC

Is there no new 'term' or word that can be coined for marketing purposes?

"Don't blame the ex EDSers, DXC is run by mostly ex CSC people. "

We are all DXC, stop the ex bull sh--! The company is run by Mike Lawrie and his yes men and women. The share price is going up and the CEO and NEO's are making ton's of money and that's all they really care about.

DXC doesn't care about its existing customers, only about this marketing term DIGITAL, which is another bull sh-- term. Computers have always been digital. Cloud is another bull sh-- term meaning virtual systems. Nothing runs is a cloud it all is housed in some data center somewhere, DXC just can't complete
