This competition is now closed. The correct onshore translation is:

If the competent people leave from the top and bottom line of any IT company, it would definitely fall. None can stop it. It's exactly happening with DXC. The top management is useless and it has no clue how to cope with the changing time and the talented bottom line have been laid off because the headcount needed to be reduced. So what can someone expect from it?
Cut 50 % resources in India and you will be fine...Move them somewhere else

My Dear Samson, there AREN’T any hardworking folks leftover at DXC. Only second rate employees who can’t find work anywhere else.
And think about this: hard work gets you NOWHERE fast. Just ask any slave, indentured servant, or minimum wage farm worker. The only thing hard work does for them is provide an early grave and massive profit in someone else’s bank account. So if you’re smart, you get someone else to work hard for you. Otherwise you are just deceiving yourself. So don’t spout the “merits” of hard work.
Wfr is sad. But at the end of the day "DXC" is a public limited company and not a charity. It has to adopt to competition lest go the way of Sears, Nortel, blackberry and a slew of others.
If you are a smart techie, there is definitely jobs out there and you can put food on the table. But if you were just one of those paper pushers inside DXC (by the way, we had thousands of them) - then pal tough luck. Smell the coffee and move on, we have to somehow move this company forward, for the hardworking folks left over and for our customers.

"at-will” employment state, you can be fired for no reason at all. But you cannot be fired for an illegal reason such as discrimination or retaliation. When an employer releases a worker from employment in violation of that worker's federal or state rights, wrongful termination occurs.
