The cash burn is more than what the stores are bringing in.... Sears is running out of money and doesn't have enough ( money) to make it thru the end of the year.

This is a legal coin flip. Heads, we pay the employee's, liquidators and comply with local regulations, Tails we shut the doors.

Is this basically saying Sears can get away with more b---s---?

@1ocz is regrettably correct. I am astonished when reading some of the posts here. I don't want to label people as stupid, they are simply poorly educated. And one could debate the topic of public education here in the U.S. for hours. So many students have had a disservice done to them in our schools. It is said that a college education today is the equivalent of a high school education 30 years ago. So where does a high school education today equate from 30 years ago? A middle school or grade school education? Very sad what has happened in so many school districts....(off topic, I know).

No need to be so rude. Deciphering legal documents is not something most people are very good at. People can be a great retail employee without ever having seen an "objection to a motion" before. And the OP didn't exactly write much of a post - pasted quote from a PDF without bothering to take out the extraneous linebreaks, and provided no information about it being objected to other than the title.

It means Sears wants to get out of abiding by regulations that protect vendors and emoyees I think. So if you are an employee you should thank the trustee and hope he geys support
