Thread regarding SeaWorld Entertainment Inc. layoffs

How many full-time positions are there even left?

Just wondering, since it looks like management will do anything and everything to make sure that you stay part-time, including removing full-time positions altogether.

Is this a way to guard against future layoffs? No severance needed for part-time folks, so if they need to make another culling like the one from a few months ago, it's barely going to cost company anything.

While at it, did anybody else notice that training is becoming worse and worse? People come out of it knowing less than they did before it, or at least it seems so.

It feels like the company has already been written off by those on top, and now they're only trying to keep it running long enough to milk as much for their own bonuses as they can before shuttering the entire thing.

Training? What training? Hahhaah. I basically just started working and had to learn everything on the job and hope it was correct!
