I thought Clearwater was a district municipality in the North Thompson River valley in British Columbia? Not sure how that is relevant here?
Hey Is-syld...
Am I missing something? Your original post from a few weeks back was an apparent attempt to leak that Clearwater had been sold!!! Funny, I haven't seen anything in the media or internally about a CW sale. I think YOU should bend over, and then you know what to do with that long nose of yours! I'd also suggest HR will be looking for you come next week.
They can spend time looking for a job!
I’m predicting the company spends nothing on growth until at least 2020. That means plenty of people with nothing to do.
Oh that made me laugh thanks for that.
Believe me now?? You tell me, is my nose longer? You can apologize and bend over, cause the sheriff is coming to town! Dipsh*ts like you will be in the front of line when HR shows up!! Which will be this week! Merry Christmas
for sure, townhalls rarely say anything of value ever. EVER. They could not say anything at a townhall material to the market or they would be in trouble. Lots of things s--- at CVE but I do give Alex kudos for answering questions straight up in his videos. Not like Brian who was all staged and answered fluff ball pre-prepared questions lobbed at him by the communication team.
You should do all of us and yourself a favour and just leave.
Anybody who thinks they are being told anything of any material value, or even remotely confidential in nature at a town hall is delusional. As far as any announcement goes, it could be anything. it could simply be another of one of APs ridiculous "what I did on my summer vacation or, look at me, I'm just like you guys" posts, or it could be CVE is being taken over by IOL.
Whether it’s factual or aspirational makes no difference. You should be able to keep it to yourself. Then again you’re probably the kind of person that stands in the kitchen and tells f***k stories about your spouse.
Lol.
His statement was an aspirational statement, not a factual one. If he was releasing firm insider information to employees before shareholders then he’d be out of a job.
You do realize that by coming on here and posting what is announced at a town hall, especially related to an asset sale is a completely bonehead move? These are material things that are important to keep confidential. I get the cve takes a bit of a risk by disclosing material to staff, but if we want to keep getting information. And staying informed we need to do our part and keep it under wraps. Before you jump all over me, I am not in management. I am just someone that is smart enough to know that part of the privilege of being kept in the loop is also being able to keep it coonfidential.
Big Z mentioned there would very likely be an announcement by the end of November.
Most the ex ConocoPhillips staff I’ve met are actually quite nice. Just saying. And I’m from old CVE. They don’t like this mess anymore than the rest of us.
Q4 results are going to be an utter disaster and that’s when we are all in danger CVE or ConocoPhillips doesn’t matter.
These posts are hilarious! Clearly from trolls or heritage CVE staff that don't have a clue. The CE "staff" consists of 5 or 6 people! It's not like CVE will unload significant staff if CW sells...which is very unlikely in these market conditions!
Nothing, nose getting longer?
Nice try troll. Get a life and move on
I heard CVE will throw in a few Tim Horton gift cards to the buyer of Clearwater.
I call bs. No company can be that dumb to give cve the asking price they want. Unless cve finally realized too it is worthless in this environment of tight capital and low prices.
It’s about time, that team has done nothing for years. They need to be gone gravey train over.
