Have the guys in Singapore recited the Refinitiv company song and Staff Pledge to the LSEG yet? Very earnest stuff when the CEO visits. It helps when there's a restructure going on...

I think I’ve seen the guy, his mouth, nose and tongue were covered in sh-- for deep arse licking.

I still cringe when I think about it.

Technically it was average however the worst part is how much of a corporate blue nosed sycophant he came across as, that coupled with the amount of people commenting on the hub post. "amazing, such blue, much bold, so scalable, wow"

I hope the guy did get made redundant, not because of him and his creation (that should be burned off the internet) but because it would hilariously ironic.

F--- refinitiv.

F--- the 'blue warriors'

F--- David Craig and his senior 'management' team.

He's a great guy - used to write songs part time in younger days. Day job wise, he's a huge asset to the business.

Not trying to be smarty-pants, just trying to make posting and reading posts easier. You can refer to someone’s post just by adding @ before post ID, like this @VIjcDrc-cquk or @cquk

Response to cvtq, "Bottom line is, who are the smart ones? The rap man and the people who loved it are still there and many others who thought it was naff are history! Take the hint..."

Sure if you think it's worth spineless sycophant, then take your little oath and sing your little rap song...until cost cutting decides they need fewer syncophants.

The Rap Guy is a local hero in Singapore and the song was proudly distributed across Asia as something very cool to accompany the REFINITIV Pledge.

Problem is that it was only a small number of people who were Keen to show seniors that they were REFINITIV through and through and the rest of the Asia staff cringed with embarrassment.

Bottom line is, who are the smart ones? The rap man and the people who loved it are still there and many others who thought it was naff are history! Take the hint...

To 2uhw

Yes, because the "rap song" is stupid unto itself.

Ok. So, you`re admitting somebody used him to his own purpose, yet you all beat the "rap guy"?

Re hft's post, "And I think you're f--ckin id--ts. Don't know the guy, but when I started I was very susceptible to all the kinds of corporate c-ap they fed me with. I was very enthusiastic as well. And people in Asia are way more enthusiastic overall than grumpy Europeans. Can you for a while assume that this was a genuine act of good will?"

Yeah we could all be id--ts. But with the amount of time, effort and resources used to create that stupid piece of drivel, do you really think he created this in a vacuum? He just happened to publish it right at the same time as the Refinitiv loyalty pledge. I would not be surprised if someone higher up said, hey, let's get a millenial to create something to build enthusiasm among the younger, lower paid, less experienced and easily duped employee base while we get rid of the older, higher paid and more experienced employees.

People trying to spread rumour over Rap-Man being sacked are sick! How dare you!

It is important that sites like this tell the truth.

The truth is Rap-Man has been transferred to the Wrexham office where he had a bright and very short future!

OMG that was THE cringiest thing (thaaang?) I've seen in a long time.

As someone else posted below, he's either out or the next head of Asia!

Dunno yet....maybe HR hasn't gotten around to "doing" its "thang" just quite yet

LOL, that was, to say the least one of the most overzealous attempt at slobbering executive bungholes and shamelessly displaying alleged corporate loyalty that I have seen in my 25+ year professional career. He either gets sacked or he becomes head of Asia.
