Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

BE VERY AFRAID

I remember reading that the new hires are becoming concerned about how the managers are acting. This is so true. The managers run from office to office and continuously have closed door meetings. Somebody is c-apping on them and they in turn treat the employees like furniture and continuously mar them and show little care for them as employees. I saw the look on this new employees face when they became concerned about how worried and frazzled the managers appear. We all know c-ap runs down hill!

I found it entertaining that enrollment was mentioned but has anyone seen the new AC hires? The first batch are in constant fear that they won't catch up fast enough. Heck,we are not even caught up on expectations!

Recently, my manager was out of the office (btw - she is actually "good" at her job and cares about her subordinates). Her cover is always too consumed and told me that my concern was not legitimate enough for his time as he had SIX students to call (five were already done) and they were escalated.....SIX - I talk to 9-20 escalated students a day....another example of the wrong people in leadership positions (marring us like furniture).

I'm actively looking to get out of a company I was so happy to join - terrible times and they are only going to get worse!

I remember one time after a certain director left for the night, my manager went and stood in her office and just ripped farts for like half an hour in there. We had just finished a team potluck and he had eaten chili and cornbread. After he finished he shut the door and trapped that heavy cloud of poo stenched air in the office for her to enjoy the next day.

I can hear my manager getting yelled at in the office by their director and then they act like we couldn’t hear the whole thing. It’s pretty unprofessional. It’s the UOP way.

New hires get in and they were never told it was a sales job. They think it’s a actual admission job, not a hard sell job. That’s why they quit. They get mislead and then leave when they realize it’s hungry games out here.

Why yes Camden they can go in strike and refuse to call people to sell fake degrees to. Even tho they already ran out of s---ers who will go into debt for a fake degree a long time ago

It's not just new hires. People who have been around a while are confused by the way management is behaving.
