Walmart lowers earnings predictions for 2019

This doesn’t come as a big surprise for me, as we all know how much money was put into the Flipkart acquisition and how much money, in general, is being put into Walmarts shift to e-commerce. In my opinion, it is smart not to burden the company with exaggerated earning goals as we wait for these investments to start paying off.

They have been buying their way to succeed in e-commerce for years. They’ve bought a lot of junk along the way. The CEO loves spending money! But are they buying the right companies? Do they have any of their own ideas? NO!
