Thread regarding Avaya layoffs

More Avaya layoffs

15% headcount reduction coming

Found this in another thread, any chance we can get some more info on this? Where did this number come from? Is it referring to the U.S.? If it is is there any way to know when and where?

Any additional information would be great.

Sales drives growth in all organizations. Existing Avaya customers are unhappy with the excessive updates and software problems and is losing its client base. Avaya is no longer a market leader in telecommunications and new sales are weak at best. Press releases do not drive growth, only short term excitement.

If they are not getting required numbers in voluntary exit program the only viable option will be layoffs. And to maintain revenue per employee the geography of employees does not matter.
