And here we go with more brick and mortar in another country to win an order. Where has

Vet we seen this playbook before. As quick as we build one we close others... way to go! Doesn’t it take cash to build technology center... oh I forgot we have so much of that...wonder why we had to cut T&L... must be to save money to build in Iraq. Or was it buy some more stock back...certainly wasn’t to fund the pension.

GE has not won s - - t there!... Siemens will get all the work. The Germans did not wreck Irak. Americans did. And now they want to s--- more cash out of a country where people don’t even have running water or electricity? Where people walk bare foot? Don’t you Americans ever get enough? Are you not ashamed of yourselves, America?

Screw Trump, this clown is a disgrace for the civilized world.

GE Power didn't win $hit. The Don stepped in and said use my company or else. GE cant get work without outside help anymore. Our reputation isn't, what used to be or, enough.

Just a reminder, the 25% steel tariff is probably going to keep this order out of the US.

Cannot build that many units in Iraq, would be built in current facilities capable of that amount of workload.

Aren't people here a little worried that the only way that GE got a sniff of this is bullying? Doesn't bode well for other contracts where the political clout is significantly lower.

Look at the execution in Pakistan and Egypt and see the difference in the delivery of promises (and KWhr).

Hopefully the oxidation issue, vaporware low-K TBC and holes in the combustors that small animals can crawl through are fixed before they actually deliver units.

Not sure how many have actually read any of the articles around this news. But they all seem to be tied one anonymous source. And they talk about GE getting a "share" of the contract, not the whole thing. I would go and but that new Caddy based on that one article. And it could be years before the actual work comes to fruition.
