Bangalore Layoffs - what's there to gain from that?

Anybody know which teams, departments, employee grades, etc. are being made redundant in Bangalore? Trying to wrap my head around what the strategy of redundancies in operational centers is?

Lol. In the U.K. there is outcry about foreigners taking jobs so we must cut immigration. Don’t worry you will stop the immigration. BUT we will still take your jobs, thank you UK!

I deal with content teams there.. and i have the impression that they are not trained at all or they do not have simply knowledge in financial markets. For this reason it is such a nightmare.. on the otherside, other people there are knowledgable and willing to help. Anyways i guess the trend is to move jobs there as it is cheaper. Simply..

I had a pleasure to cooperate with few brilliant folks from Bangalore. And a nightmare with dozens of others. Good day!
