When the closing stores were announced everyone in my location was upset that we were not chosen to close. Being in a "Go Forward" store is a f---ing joke. We can't order any product, we are not getting trucks, nobody applies for credit anymore, nobody buys PAs and my DM still mails me telling me that we must hit our metrics. He is f---ing delusional and has drank so much of the kool-aid that he truly believes they can turn this sh-- around. Everyone in my store can not stand the guy anymore because he's so robotic and doesn't seem to have a single ounce of empathy. Can't wait for this sh-- to be over.

Hmm, so you are going to sit there and complain about your job that pays you? You can’t wait until this is over. You know you control where you work right? By the way no matter where you go you have to hit metrics. No matter where you go there are supervisors and managers. Stop complaining and do something about it.......

As you know,even if you hit all the metrics everyday, the company would still be bankrupt.
What happens if you say to the DM, Must hit our metrics or what? I guess he can fire you but would he take that chance?
Or you can just yes him to death. Come up with more & more preposterous reasons why you didn't make the metrics this time. My old manager had some doozies that I still don't know if he believed himself.
I am sick & tired of hearing “just quit”! It takes time to find a new job. People have responsibilities & can’t just quit. Have a little empathy.

Oh, not only are people NOT applying for credit, nobody is applying for jobs. We have around eight positions available. It's been like that for months.
Don't worry, all the stores will be closed soon. Sears will be in chapter 7 very quickly. This is a repeat of what happened at Toys R Us. Done by the same people, no less. Sad that everyone is too dumb to figure that out.
Quit and walk away, or stop whining.
