approx a dozen gone today. Some insensitive actions towards a couple. No moral intelligence shown. I can't see how the newco will be better. I wish those affected all the best. In a way they are better off being out of all of this.

They say GTM done so that may mean more outside of GTM. The games they play. Everyone is walking around with their chin on the floor.
Around 17 gone to date from Pacific region - SYD/MEL/NZ. Pretty much all client facing roles.
2 x Sydney TAM/TRMs were let go for Pacific region.

What happened? I am no surprised.
I am sure old "pants on fire" DC has a digital tally board of the reductions in his office, eagerly awaiting his goal number to be hit. Just like a television telethons. But unlike the normal telethons, which are usually built on hope and dream and the money is sent to the needy cause. DC's telethon is built on soul crushing misery, and at the end he fills his pockets with cash from his bonus once he reaches his goal.
There are 5 Technical Relationship Managers (AKA TAMs) in Sydney, and another one in Melbourne. Not sure how many were let go. The role TAM is unfortunately gone globally. That is why they are being targeted so heavily. My suspicion is the ones that survive this round will be gone by spring (or sooner), or they will be forced into a new role. But not many will be offered a new role. We will have to see how NYC and London shacks out this week to gauge the severity of things. I will be curious how the role is handled in the two biggest markets.
