Thread regarding Sabre Holdings layoffs

Signs of layoffs?

Anyone seeing signs of layoffs? Specifically USA. I've observed a few things that make me nervous, such as budgets getting slashed. Other minor stuff.

I wish more people understood the basics of fiscal management at an organization and optimizing workforce locations/team co-location. These comments are laughable, especially from @VEPk0Gd-3iqm. We have almost our entire VP+ located in HDQ and as a global company that's just bad planning. Of course Sabre needs to hire execs in the GDCs. Please read some kind of business journal before you speak out in class.

There are layoffs in southlake, just not big enough to issue a WARN notice. I’ve know some that have been affected. Yes the previous comments on budget slashing and Global Workforce is the direction. We are told the major moves though will be through attrition, but i know “sets of products” that have been told to reduce cost in double digit percentage numbers.

beyond that strategy, as far as i know there are no mass moves before xmas.

Many signs of lay off, look carefully you will see. This is evil company. If they skip this quarter, there sure will be lay off in 2019 Q1.

No layoffs but this Sellincourt guy was brought in to redistribute the workforce to low cost "global development centers" under the guise of making regional leadership more accessible through colocation. Make no mistake, this means a major shift offshore through "regrettable attrition" and stack ranking first with management index scores and employee stack ranking agendas. They are making all new VP and director positions offshore at a high ratio. This company is evil to the core.

You mean like the bigger, beefier security guards? Sure it is just a coincidence.
