I always thought that bikeBoy really liked being this kind of rolling talking empty head. As if you took a middle manager, made them an executive, and said, "Don't worry. You don't actually have to understand the products or customers. Just blah blah about some buzzwords, then add in STEM and the environment and women and charity and bike riding and you're good." The only innovative thing he did was to grab a TdF cycling team.

@VCnHST2-klw You sound upset. Is it because your redundant/useless position finally got cut?

His twitter is inactive too. Last 3 posts are from Aug 9, Jul 18, Jul 10. Check his Jul 10 post:

"We care about our #customers and #communities, #people and the #planet - all crucial for business and the world. See our #Sustainability report for more info."

Next day the acquisition was announced. I think it's priceless!

I don’t know this quote below shows me he’s not only a leader but super charitable to be in the presence of mere plumbers or petty hedge fund managers. Not only a leader but a hero which we’ve never seen the likes of.

“When you’re on the bike, nobody knows you’re a CEO,” Gregoire said in an interview last year with Crain’s New York Business. “You’ll have plumbers and hedge fund guys who are out there trying to kill you. “ #MakeTheModernSoftwareFactoryMeanSomethingOnce #LookMaNoHands #HeadbandInBasement #dna

He came in wanting to turn the company around. He failed. He could have done nothing and there would have been a better result.

Bahaha,,,,,,,,"Biking makes CEO's Better Leaders" . I guess if you consider he lead CA right into the ground like a failed 767, then yeah I'll agree with this article! The only thing that makes a good leader is unselfishness and being able to do the same things you ask your employees to do. It's called leading by example (sacrifice), and the CA ELT team, most of them have no leadership skills. This whole acquisition was done under a "what can I benefit from this" attitude, which means every employee at CA was cannon fodder. The best CEO's I've every met were prior service and knew sacrifice, and riding 26 miles, or 50, or whatever is not sacrifice.
