Am I the only one that thinks 1 employee (myself) on duty is wrong with all we need to do? Hell 12 people on duty at Waffle House selling eggs and coffee!

I was looking for the policy. All I saw was something stating 2 people to close the store. I never saw anything saying yes or no to 2 people opening the store. Where did you find the policy?

Policy was changed. Myself and a DAPL pulled it last week for a shift who thought the manager was breaking policy. 2 people must close a store. It says nothing about 2 people opening a store. You need SM access or higher access the policy.

Sorry policy was not changed ! 24 hour stores must have 2 people in store at all time! It's your butt do what you want! Purposely breaking policy over demand percentage?

My husband will not allow me to open by myself. He realizes how dangerous this can be to my safety! He opens with me on weekends and is p-ss-d with my DL who will not address the issue. Yes hours have been cut next year , the budget was shared with some of us weeks ago ! Only getting worse for RX also

Policy was changed last yr when they started cutting stores below demand

Policy states you must have 2 people in a store at all times to be open, this includes rx, so one person up front if rx is open at same time. If you must open alone with rx close you are required to let your DL know and maybe your LP person but I wouldn't open the store until your DL replies approving this action. If you open and they havent replied and you get robbed then its your job but to help you need to keep screen shots of text you send your boss so you have proof. Always cover your a-- no matter what. Remember you're replaceable for less and you'll be replaced before your name is even out of the system.

How do I access policy and procedure portal, my login doesnt work as a manager?

Policy & Procedures Portal - Opening and Closing Store. I believe you can just search it under Store Resources.

Where would one pull this policy up?

Last I checked policy stated two people are needed to close the store. Doesn’t say anything about opening with two people anymore. They changed it.

Just for fun type metoo if you open by yourself ! Let's count the views! You get robbed I promise you the DL will fire you and say they did not know ! Do not open by yourself period!!!!!! Do not do it! Try getting another job and explaining you broke policy and was robbed, not gonna hire you anywhere!!!!!

Move your weekly replenishment to start at 8am. Myschedule should adjust the demand to schedule 2 people to open.

Your DL and Ap . Usually they look the other way. If anyone has been fired for this it’s because the company wanted them out and finally found a reason.

I call b---s---. Out of 14 stores in my district, all managers go in before the store open by themselves. Shoot myschedule doesnt even call for a second person in the building until 930/10. We have to hurt optimization by scheduling a second employee at opening.

I open at 8 am and have to go in at 7 am by myself till 9 am when Rph arrives, I know it is a policy violation but my Dl has not called me on it and she is aware and so is my lp person can I be fired? I feel so helpless and everyone is doing it in my district My sister hangs out and drinks coffee till my rph arrives each day

Just remember, minimum isn’t minimum until its one person.
