Word has it that a communication is going to be sent out on Monday or Tuesday (October 15 or 16). Different teams and sites will be impacted.
In six months the third building in Cary should be open for business. I think we all knew this was coming and it could be big.

And just because there was mention of an announcement big or small on this 3rd party website doesn’t mean something significant did. There is too much gossip and hearsay going around about things that never end up happening. Everybody is just making each other miserable. All we can do is wait and see, or leave and find a new path.
The original post said COULD be big. Apparently it was big enough. Just because you heard nothing doesn't mean something significant didn't happen.
@NotRumor where I am in MetLife we have heard nothing, and neither have some colleagues in Scranton or Clark’s Summit, and that just seems odd when someone said BIG announcements coming.

Wife was told yesterday in Troy. Her job will be in Cary by 3rd quarter of next year. Will have to re-interview for her own job, will stay in same pay grade, but not at the same pay. No moving assistance. If her job is posted before then she can interview and move early. Will have 90 days to move once she accepts the job. Not enough time to sell our house so she will be moving down by herself for awhile. Rent and a mortgage...great.
Apparently it’s all rumors and hearsay. No major announcements have been made. Why get people riled up if there are no known facts?

I know people in IT who are being notified today in Scranton/Clarks Summit. I haven't gotten details yet, though. Basically just that their jobs will be moving to Cary, NC in 2019.
Almost EOD on the 16th and I have not heard anything about this from anyone.

A fresh Shipment of H1B Indians visa elegible workers arrived to fill the campus, just in time for US Citizens and US Residents layoffs.
Coincidentally, a bunch of HR systems will be shut down this weekend nominally for Disaster Recovery.
