Thread regarding Refinitiv layoffs

My best wishes to everybody impacted by the layoffs. I'm ex-TR and can tell you that there is a better life for you after TR. You will go through some dark times of uncertainty but you will find something new and take your career in a better direction. Trust me, you'll feel relief and you can start moving forward instead of sideways. The management of TR lost it's way a long time ago. They are completely disingenuous and couldn't care less about customers, products, and employees. Despite a narrative about investment and innovation you knew this was a lie. It's a shame that mediocre executives more focused on their own bonus than creating value for customers have all but wrecked this once great company but it's time to move on and let them be accountable for what they've done. There's lots of great companies out there that are just waiting to meet you. Keep hopeful, take some time off, rediscover what you love, connect with your family, go on long walks with your partner, join a gym, watch your kids play games, network with business colleagues you lost touch with and you will look back on this time as an opportunity for positive change.
