Seems fishy they would delay the report especially when there was some good news in it. We're they trying to tank the stock price so people could buy and reap the after market benefit?

Exactly like I told you last week. Eddie was trying to buy those cheap stocks as much as possible so he delayed it. Eddie the financial wiz.
It might have been due to having to re-record the statement, or inavailability of key people. They are human, after all. But it sure looked fishy.
They may have been unable to close the deal with Kenmore and SHIP, which they would have wanted to announce. The point is, they still have enough letters of credit to provide funding for the moment, so the dire predictions were premature.
Buy the rumor, sell the news.
