Imo....the quickest rout is another private equity buyout with another step in the value creation process.

If or when mike Bloomberg sells, it might be interesting if the number one financial information company and number one legal information would team up for a powerhouse $125b ipo .....something that they could not do with refinitiv

TRGR have just (this month) committed to and are moving offices in Baar Zug Switzerland.

Be a funny thing to do if they were going to close up shop there.

For most MNEs, Switzerland is likely just a tax strategy play. With recent tax reform, my bet is that Switzerland and Canada are becoming less desirable. In this climate, one would expect that the name of the game is operational cost cutting (i.e., high rent, salaries, etc.)

Neil has been solely focused on getting capital distributions for the Thomson family. This is the final stage of dismantling the company for them and leaving only the news organization behind.
