Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Why did DF retire suddenly?

Does this mean that the new CEO has been identified? Is it MR? Otherwise, Intel would have waited for the new CEO to arrive before making these types of sudden executive level changes. If DF wanted to retire (I doubt this because of the timing of the announcement and his last day), but even if we believe that he wanted to retire, he was fed up, why not wait for the new CEO. Strange. Any thoughts?

DF is the most racist person I've ever met, not to mention the most inept executive. Now that he is in charge of special projects at Lenovo, that means he's on his way out!

I (and most everyone) didn't think Kirk would be.

If you read between the lines, it also means that Kirk will not be Intel's CEO.

@1ugi

"Surprised he survived so long after RJ left"

DF makes SSG a perfect .ppt group which is fine for BK, this is why he survived this long.

"Intel does push people out because of Age. That is highly illegal."

As an investor I should hope they do. I don't want some geezer slowing down my company.

Age has nothing to do with it. People work longer these day for allot of reasons... Intel does push people out because of Age. That is highly illegal.

DF was pushed -out, threated, bullied, harassed out by one of MR's cronies. Likely fed-up with the situation.
