Sen. Bernie Sanders is pushing "Stop Bezos act" as a means for companies who benefit from new tax breaks to share "the benefited profits" from these tax savings with employees. As a hard working and significantly underpaid employee this sounds good; however, I also realize the negative aspects of such a congressional act. If companies are not smart enough to share the profits with employees and pay fair market wages we will see what is clearly evident right now as employees leave and go to competitors who do provide fair market wages and better benefits. It is more or less a question of good leadership and not being forced by the government.

That explains why our div has lost more than 50% turnover to companies that are embracing better better pay at all levels. Here it seems only upper mgmt is reaping the benefits. It will cost us in the end unless upr mgmt is willing to embrace all levels of work themselves as they will be the only ones left.
