Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Visa question

I am a Ph.D. from a top-tier Univ in the US. I have been at Intel for 3 years and have been treated very well very well compensated. I recently got a chance to go back to school for an MBA. I think I am going to do this since the MBA will be a breeze given my analytics and business background. Plus have a nice package to do this. I suspect I may not come back to Intel. I am trying to figure out whether out to try to stay on my H1 visa or switch back to F1. I suspect I will probably go teach or run a company outside the US eventually. I think f1 is better and not be tied to Intel

If you are asking this question on this website (of all places), then clearly you are having an inflated opinion about your capability. Just saying.

Top Tier like Stanford, MIT, Berkeley, Michigan? Or just top tier in your mind?

I got eb1 (outstanding researcher) green card within a year in intel (left after two years). How come you didn’t get that if you are a top PhD from a top-tier univ?

Over confident. Strong opinion. Think very highly of yourself. You are definitely an Intel employee.
