Theres no sales advantage to this guy at all.
The one damn thing this guy should be able to do is sell ! There was little advantage to the other c and evp leaders as well. No one has done anything to propell this company forward except splash teams with BS.
no innovation, very little new development, and cost cuts everywhere. Totally convinced our board is full of meatheads.
Almost like VS introduction. No prior AS experience. Several references to past experience working with DS and following “playbook”. It doesnt sound like President/EVP for AS.
Did anyone have a good impression of this guy after the introduction meeting today? Seems like a dimwit to be over a whole business unit.

Why Turkish EVP is a problem??? Was it a problem when Greg G. was promoted to be an EVP then SVP, who is an Aussie. Did you see this a problem when Greg G. had assigned Aussie EVPs reporting to him? Why do you complain about the Turkish guy? Is there something that you know and we don't? Tell it...
I dont mind if he brings in people he can trust any leadership person does that. However, I will say that position requires darn good sales skills and in this case verticle knowledge. A better strategy would have been to “hire in sales”. Meaning hire someone that is extremely well positioned and influential in an AS target company, such as SU for example. - thats smart positioning and if you ever came from a decent consulting company you would know its a very proven strategy. Our sales strategy and focus is absolute c-ap. A huge miss in the millions we pay out at the exec level.

Growth plan for AS? When our CSS is bringing the majority of AS revenu and we are loosing customers one after the other, where is the potential growth? One day the system will be stopped like SITA Horizon and AS integrated within TN

But there's growth and plans for AS. What do you mean by no hope ? The only way AS would shut down would be to sell it's products, like the rumors from Dec 2017 stated.
