28 laid off in India , Noida and Bangalore
Just DO IT all ready sick of stressing out over when the hammer will fall. No use in learning new digital (what ever that means, as computers have always been digital ) c-ap.
When it happens I'll then look to take on consulting jobs, but for now it's not worth it to take a short term consulting job where I'll need to travel away from home.
I predict that Mikey will quit DXC in April 2019. He will have banked his bonus for Q3 and Q4 for WFR'ing 60,000 employees and then he can finally retire.
@V1BzhI2-bigd Hear hear. After having been WFR'd by DXC 2 years agoand Mikey picked up a bonus for me, my blood pressure has dropped 20%, I earn 45% more on contract in the real world and I have a fulfilling life. My colleagues that remain at DXC are under massive pressure to deliver the impossible and their customers are not very happy. How many new major clients have been signed up in the last year? Not that many but lots have (or are about to) give DXC the chop.
I left DXC some time back and couldn’t be happier. If you are like me and have been trailing these forums, it’s time to pack up and look for other opportunities while you can (before you are WFRed). Just do it!
We had a similar briefing call last week too! No details on the numbers of staff involved, but we were told to draw up lists, ranking people in order of first to cut, so we could compile WFR pools when the time comes. The timeframe given to us was 2nd half of this fiscal (October 2018 through to end of March 2019). That's all I know at the moment...
I was briefed in person on a leadership call last week about the latest WFR program impacting the Build organisation. I suspect there are rarely any email trails in these circumstances. I have been "at risk" myself before and there is never anything in writing until the very end is in sight. Folks get called to meetings. Either team meetings or one to ones. If the WFR is large scale there are sometimes lots of folks on the call. I am puzzled why folks are in denial about what is going on. All I can tell you is that the global cuts to Build will be in Q3 and Q4 and we are currently preparing lists of staff to be cut. Meanwhile, I know that Deliver is currently undergoing large scale cuts in various territories including here in the US as well as India & Europe. There are also some regional WFR programs, such as India based on pay. Many employees over a certain level will be let go regardless of performance. This is simply to manage the cost profile of the business.
Show proof , Facts and not alternative facts. So you have a email then copy and paste it removing the TO and CC
Other use it’s all c-ap hear say
Major cuts to Build organisation, globally, scheduled for the second half of the fiscal. Leaders briefed this week and lists being prepared.
38 laidoffs confirmed in Mexico
Folks, you have received advanced notice that massive WFRs are imminent in the next few months and it is advisable to update your CVs now in preparation for being shown the door from DXC. Mikey and the management team don't give a toss about you or your contributions to the company. All that Mikey cares about is his bonus.
Be prepared and stay safe. Believe it or not - receiving a WFR is not the end of your world but is a blessing in disguise and there is life outside of DXC.
Project management team in UK mentioned that WFR is only matter of time.
WFR is a reality with sword above your neck in DXC
India centers are the main target ....70% is junk..
DXC has become hell please don't join DXC
Will this affect the UK?
New layoffs ?...or announced about the current round with folks scheduled to exit DXC on 19 Nov 2018 ?
