Hmm. Nothing here. It's a hot day here. Let's all go to the swimming dock and see what' exciting there!
Saffron has been killed. Was it announced? If not, then this is an accurate article.
Charlie is one of the few guys who actually have insider information. Usually he's very right.
Or you can trust Ashraf, who is a total fool
Guys, Charlie Demerjian is a former tabloid reporter who has been making a few pennies by wildly trashing Intel for a decade. No serious person listens to him. His stories are false (in May he predicted a $20 billion company would go out of business because of an Intel mistake. Laughable lie https://www.semiaccurate.com/2018/07/02/intel-custom-foundrys-10nm-meltdown-is-crushing-a-20b-market-cap-tech-giant/ ).
He misses the huge stories, like GF getting out of 7nm, because he's full of sh--. Do not waste a second on this id--t and DEFINITELY do not pay him for the article.
ICF is gone
Saffron?
What is the division? The article is behind a paywall.
I was wondering what this is. If you go to https://qdms.intel.com/Portal/SearchPCNDataBase.aspx and search by 'Key Characteristics' and then by 'Product Discontinuance', there isn't anything really new and earth-shaking other than the July announcement of Xeon Phi getting nuked. Maybe this is what SemiAccurate means by 'silently'.
