"This was an ownerless company denuded of any purpose except seemingly to enrich its directors and keep its rootless multiple shareholders happy from one profit-reporting period to another. There was no mission to deliver, no drive for excellence, no pride in service. Workers were disposable notations on spreadsheets."
Sound familiar?
Written not so long ago about the giant UK services company Carillion, which collapsed earlier this year causing chaos across the public and private sector.
The disposable subcontracting model of project delivery is the one being pursued by Mikey. Its the path to destruction whilst being his personal path to ridiculous fortune. Screw the customers, bugger the staff, fill your boots.
Its everything that is wrong in today's society.
