Did anyone else catch that during this morning's call or did I mishear?

They should just tell everyone that you will be a temp agency. Not much expertise left that will want to be left of this mess of a company soon. All announcements are a ploy to keep the clients happy and undermine the workers. It's really sad.
The Amazon and Azure and VMware partnerships are just fud - like all the ones before.
It doesn't mean anything.
In fact, I'm sure MS and VMware are loving the idea that their longer standing partnership has just been superseded by their arch nemesis.
As for DXC staff, looks like they are on track for their 100,000 ideological target in April 2020.
Another 25%-33% of any onshore staff to be chopped or replaced with children in Q2-->Q4 FY19.
And it won't make one jot of difference to the long term asset strip and liquidation of the whole thing.
News - DXC and Amazon Web Services just completed a huge deal. Multi-year, global agreement FUBAR of course but Amazon ain't learned yet.
In Wikipedia , it shows 1,30,000.
So basically 2500 people leaving every single month since the inception of this hot mess. Mind. Blown.
The DXC web site says " With some 137,000 employees worldwide, the company’s deep experience gives it a clear and confident vision to help clients navigate the future. "
We were all told legacy CSC is going away and DXC is becoming a pure services company. So Data Centers, Storage , Backup, Server support is all going away. No pay increases for anyone in those area's and all of the jobs that can be WILL be sent to low cost countries.
DXC US will hire thousands of graduate students to support the new services model (AWS, Azure) .
Its plain and simple most of the existing employee's that will be gone in a few short years and service is the key.
Don't see why clients would come to DXC , go to Service companies that exist already. Ones that know how the game is played not a new coming fighting to stay alive.
