Can someone please chime in and let us how are those affected by today's layoffs being notified?

After pulling a 10 hour night invited to a meeting 3 hours after my shift ended. Bunch of people joined a call, boss read a script and gave us our final work day. Dunno about the others but was best thing that ever happened to me.
My ETA went empty, followed by a text to meet my boss at 10 AM!
Speaking of telegraphing!
Boss read a printed statement then took some HR person off mute on his phone.
