I'm a PD engineer and I received some information that Hackett wants to reduce PD headcount by 20% in 2019.

Hackett is right on the money. There are hundreds if not thousands of d---beat in PD. They are none productive, lazy, inexperienced, and wasting the company’s time and money.
Bad move Ford. Big Launch Coming. Few staff to handle issues. Adios.
His big egg head alone should count for 10 normal pinheads. Big Brain, what an fing joke.
I do hope it will happen. Ford has too much fat within the salary workforce that needs to be trimmed for the past 8 years. Too many people with nothing to do and get away with it for years. Not only in PD but at PTME and at all plants. Ford has over 11 thousand agency workers, not all are bad but some are doing great work for the company. Ford needs to look deeper into the GSR and LL+ and weed out the inefficiency, none value added employees, remove them from the company.
I was told the entire NVH staff in Dunton was let go today. They also let several people go in Building 5 today (Dearborn). One was (IMHO) the best supervisor in the place.
I work at dunton and we've been told this too. All agency pd staff will be told to go the end of the year.
PD = Product Development. Hacket is a Hack. He's taking out his failures on the employees. Stock is down with this clueless person at the help. He has no business in automotive
