I'd rather watch "paint dry" than attend the CES 2019 Keynote Address on January 8th. I mean really, what insights could she possibly provide.
So the piece of news here is that on Jan 8, 2019 Ginni, evidently, will still be with IBM... That is a terrible news for all those who are hoping she would be gone before this (2018) year is over!

IBM are certainly irrelevant in the consumer electronics domain but equally, rapidly losing ground in the commercial space to as smaller, more agile competitors each their lunch! Hence their dismal growth figures and flat margins which are propped-up by savage cost-cutting in the form of layoffs.

Why on earth would ces want someone from IBM? They don't do consumer or electronics anymore! Must be a token quota for affirmative action. No other explanation, as they're a Totally irrelevant company for that audience.
