Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

DXC don't care about customers

Employees's PC are migrating from HPE to DXC. The whole site where I work is migrating the same day. So, no one will be able to support customers and their critical application.

Well done.

CSC Management does not take care about employees jobs, but also about customers and contracts.

"The day of reckoning of being used, abused , lied to and treated like serfs is coming to an abrupt end" not your life time its not. Its getting worse, because of all this AI c-ap, off shoring etc... give a man (or women) a job, make them feel (voice to text, screwed up the last post) like bread (money ) earners then they will spend and the circle will keep going.

Ah, so that's what DXC means by 'Digital Disruption': the impact upon the client, when the supplier decides to re-image during core-hrs at a cost of 3hrs per employee, per account with lost support and a drop in revenue for this unbilled time.

Surely a company that specializes in "Digital Transformation" should be able to make their own internal stuff work?

And there you have it ... The age of self entitlement that everyone complains the younger generation from having , stems from the older greedy generation before us. Feudalism lives. Its not capitalism ... its Feudalism . If anyone knows history , that didn't work out too well either. The day of reckoning of being used, abused , lied to and treated like serfs is coming to an abrupt end .

I was on a call where a manager was told about lost revenue due to billable resources going through migration. Some w laptop crashes/reimaged. He was questioning why the people weren’t told they need to make up the billable time lost due to migrating. B--ch please! Lucky my phone was on mute !

why do the employees need freaking laptops, there can be cost saved there. Just install a big size Chinese made TV and take away all the laptops.

It's pointless migrating laptops and accounts supporting the HPE account to DXC. But they don't care. Get ready for a world of pain trying to support the client.

And wish your fallen soldiers good luck (those who have to re-image). They'll need it.

mine had to be re-image. And yes I was not the only one in this position. Don't worry migration is only 3 hrs. I just came above water 3 days later.

What's involved with migrating a PC anyway? I use my home personal PC and a CSC laptop to access the CSC network. So there is no special software needed.
