Success Sharing Bonus?

Anyone got it? ML did say they met the SSP target so top performers should get a bonus, supposedly in July payroll but could be smoke and mirrors.

Just take your days off and be done with it. Give yourself a raise by taking time off.

That averages out to a paltry $2000 each, and with no pay raises for years for us worker bees, the executives are making a killing. Do they really think this is a motivating incentive?

From ML Q1 highlights video message:

  1. 10,000 top performers will receive SSB

  2. Total pay-out of $20 million pending board approval next week

  3. Employees who have earned a SSB should hear from their manager towards the end of the month

Take it from a UK&I top performer - I got nothing. I wont be a top performer next year. Just waiting around for the WFR to come along.

There is nothing in that SSP that talks about regional anything.

The target is DXC EBIT, not DXC UK EBIT (because such a number isn't ever published).

More BS.

Oh and actually, technically management won't get SSP payments because it clearly states that anyone with any other type of incentive plan doesn't qualify.

In theory this scheme is for the proles only.

Hidden away in a "360 News" email in early July they announced that the Success Sharing Program WAS being funded, and that employees due a bonus would be notified by the end of July. However in the UK we asked our leadership and they said that they didn't make their numbers so they weren't going to be included in the "success sharing". I guess that means the pay out is only going to be to regions that hit their financial targets - but it is happening allegedly

I know no one except account execs who have a comp plan tied to financials. They get 19K US to over $100K. Exceeds all on my team got nothing. Meets and exceeds some got nothing.

A year ago I received a "1" and was WFR'd. So glad to have left the sinking ship.

Oh and by the way, the document about this talks about US and UK law.... does this mean that this wasn't a global thing?

I'll bet it wasn't... I'll be that it didn't apply to anything other than the UK or USA and that in some places there isn't a scheme at all and in other (European) countries there was already something that was just a flat payout to everyone.

CSC was always bad for such lies and deceit when it came to pay and conditions with massive nationality based differences.

There was $561 million in over achievement in EBIT for FY18.

Ten per cent of that was for the SSP bonus fund... so $56.1 million.

In order to get your 5% share, you needed to get a "1" on your appraisal. Who got a 1?

I don't know ANYONE.

Coincidence?

"Employee must have superior performance as documented in the annual

performance process, including as it relates to an individual’s goals and

consistent demonstration of DXC CLEAR Values. DXC Management’s

identification of such superior performance is at its sole discretion."

I think you are seeing chicken and egg there - the cost of the SSP award and the total amount they want to pay out determines how many people get the magic "1" and are awarded it - not that your actual performance doesn't warrant a "1"

But we all knew it was rigged from the start didn't we?

I do think some honest open numbers should be published though - what was the total fund and how much was actually paid out - that's not identifying people and would give us all confidence that its not rigged. But it is rigged and they won't publish because of it.

We were told this by UK HR people too.

But they didn’t know when it would come and who would qualify.
