No HA Roadshows this year? That's more telling than anything that everything is sunk. The vendors paid for those roadshows. No more I guess. Anyone have any intel on what happened?

We haven't had a HA roadshow in 5 years here in okc!!! it s---ed anyway
When I worked at Sears, we'd go to the Troy MI store for training on occasion, it's where the regional main office was. Now Troy is closing...
No vendors left to pay for the training. Most vendors now are either small, trying to make it vendors or vendors trying to dump merchandise that no one else wanted.

About up until two years or so all of the smaller stores used to travel to one of the bigger stores in our district for training. We were provided lunch, coffee, drinks and snacks and were paid mileage for the trip up there. We also got to know each other. We don't do that anymore. I've noticed that our store manager and our assistant managers don't go away for any training or conventions like they did in days past.
They used to have out of store meetings for tools.....the Tool Rally.....and for Lawn and Garden and the old PAINT Rallies when Sears used to have big market share in Paint.....Sears advertised the Great American homes program where homes such as Betsy Ross' and Thomas Edison'swere shown as being painted inside and out with Sears Paint.....
Oh how far this company has fallen since then.
