I can’t believe what is going on here. The new norm is now working about 2 hours OT daily just to get our assigned calls done. It’s out of control. Now they are asking for volunteers to go to the auto dialer in September. Nobooeants to to that so now I’m sure it’s gonna be forced upon us Apparently they just hired some new HCM us to start why don’t they just have them go on the auto dialer?

Oh Lordy
LIving well is always the best revenge Complaining is what management wants to hear they thrive off it I was RIF a while ago Spend your time pulling together build up your Teflon coating and let everything roll right off that will drive them crazy
I just think there are trolls on this site that most of us need to ignore.
Labor board.
To previous poster questioning how the other poster would know. You must be a nurse because I have noticed nurses will eat their own, throw them under the bus like no other profession!
Highest performing on your team? How the heck would you know? People who say this on here aren't telling the whole story I think. Glad you found a job but maybe try to be a little less condescending, it's offensive to everyone else.
@UqvFO2w-3ncs, I did get a new position with United before my severance ran out. There are pros and cons with them as well, but overall the climate is much more relaxed and friendly. It's not perfect, but it's not stressful.
What new processes? We have had so many recently.
100% on my audits. That's good. Keeping my roster up despite doing work of 2. That's good. Having trouble with new processes cause no instructions on how to do... that's bad. Enough to put me on a verbal warning after two weeks. Wow.... after six years.
No such thing as anonymity , they have ways.
Speak up anonymously when you do the Kenexa survey next week! I have been honest every year and never has any repercussions.
That is aweful but not surprised. That is why very few people speak up. There is no support or empathy here. How are you doing now. Did you get a new position? Good for you not having to work here anymore.
I was laid off in April. I just came back on this board out of curiosity to see if things had gotten better. I see they have not. Don't speak up if you want to keep your job. I did, and it put me on the chopping block. I was the highest performing associate on my team, but I was also the one who would speak up. Never disrespectfully. Never argumentative. Always "my teammates and I are concerned about these issues. Here's constructive criticism on ways that we feel could improve morale and member rentention." Speaking up doesn't do you any favors, trust me.
If you worked in SNP I'm sure you'd know this culture we are speaking of. And you know social workers advocate for change on a daily basis; but it gets us nowhere with management decisions.
As Ive said we have tried. We have not only been UNsuccessful advocating for simplicity and better processes AND it put targets on our backs.
Go ahead and discuss YOU pouty children. Because why actually try to make a difference when you can just sit back and WHINE. Seriously change begins with you. But ok post on an anonymous site instead because that fixes things.
Nobody even talks during team meetings anymore. Morale is so poor. Everyone is afraid. We are expected to take whatever is dished out to us no matter how difficult it is. We thought our work environment was bad before but had no idea how bad things could get. It’s only going to get worse. They will keep pushing us until we break. It’s so sad. This could be a wonderful place to work and could be so much more beneficial for our members if we didn’t have to rush them so much to reach our metrics
Also when we do bring things up during team meeting our leader hit us extra hard with nit-picking so we back down and go incognito for a while. And things our leader does bring to higher ups usually dont get granted.
We dont speak to comm or higher ups due to fear of retailiation. We come here to field for recommendations and to see if other teams are experiencing the same under their leaders due to lack of transparency. Why dont YOU go have a seat and let us others discuss.
It’s not a matter of believing or disbelief. It’s a matter of how do we fix the problem? By staying silent? Don’t think that’s going to work.
Why hope a higher up reads it? Why not be proactive and speak to someone?
I have worked SNP and HCCP. SNP members are more challenging in my opinion. Not to mention SNP cannot refer to HCM SS, and all the surveys. I believe OP.
I am not speaking to my com. They don’t care From what I hear all the teams are working insane hours the special-needs population teams are overwhelmed and yes working overtime just to get the calls done because they’re giving us too many calls to do in one day our patients are extremely ill with very little resources thiese calls cannot be rushed and yes I am looking to change just to soon as I find something and so are many others . This is a forum for us to share information and hope that some of the higher ups actually read this so that they could make some changes and won’t lose their nurses who work very hard for this company and are very valuable to our members health .
SNP works very hard to shift the workloads evenly. Perhaps you should speak to your coach’s boss aka your com instead of coming here and making everyone think all teams are run the same.
I also will stick up for poster because it happens on my team as well. There are vast differences in how SNP and HCCP are managed. I am assuming in part because of CMS rules and regs
Thank you poster for sticking up for me. I am telling the truth. We have been getting more and more calls to make every day and we are told we cannot leave until they are completed . very few people are able to complete them in time and those people are skipping lunches and breaks so yes there is forced overtime either you do the work or there are consequences for not completing it . you can’t leave until it’s done and there’s no way to finish it and eight hours !
Instead of thinking a poster is being "untruthful" what about considering they are telling it like it is on their team. Maybe their team its like that in SNP and maybe other leaders do not have the same standards.
I can vouch for poster who said ot is forced. If we dont have all our mocs done (for example the days we have 15+ MOCs and 6 proactives a 3 pdcs) we cannot leave. If there is no help available, you work late or risk being written up. Also any successful calls after your cob time do not count towards our metrics even if you are on the clock working OT to finish your roster.
Poster is not being truthful. SNP does not force overtime and makes considerable efforts to help take away heavy work loads. If you are unhappy and looking to spread rumors- quit.
What is IMBH?
HCCP RNs are not allowed OT unless absolutely unavoidable, like a late call on Friday. All OT has to be approved by coaches.
SNP forces OT. We are told we are not allowed to leave until all calls made which can include covering for another associate, proactives, etc. What departments do not allow OT?
What department? We are still not allowed overtime. Rosters are out of control. The new members keep coming. Thy are asking us to volunteer for imbh.
It may be because they are only hiring nurses and want nurses for roster mgmt and sw on AD? Just a guess...
