Hardly anybody complaining about L1 visa?

L1 visa is more dangerous. It's a dual intent visa like the H1B. It also allows for employment authorization for spouses. Unlike H1B, it does not have minimum salary requirements.

Even if the rejection rates are increasing for H1B, the flood of H1Bs mostly from India continues unabated. The system cannot keep up and there is little Trump has in his power to stop the abuse of the H1B. The Indians are smart and now how to take advantage of the US political system to advance their cause. There are about 100 Indians running for political office now.

Kevin Yoder, senator from Kansas has included HR 392 in the DHS funding bill and when passed will remove the green card backlog from India. Be ready for unlimited numbers of Indians leaving the 2nd most populated country in the world for the USA.

The talk about Trump rescinding work visas of spouses is just talk. Been going on for a long time but nothing has come to fruition and never will.

I am surprised people haven't caught on with the implications of \/ below on the Chinese server market....

İf Intel Xeon is going to be blocked out in the Chinese server market, while AMD has that Epyc clone revenue sharing arrangement....then there's a pretty good probability that we will look back a few quarters from now and think $19/share was dirt cheap price for AMD common shares....And how ridiculously overpriced Intel was at $49/share.....Forget about even if Intel 10nm will finally be delivered on time, or even Intel 7nm......which is still a big if.....

There are.jist teoany things that Intel needs to get right..

it needs to.find the right CEO, it needs to get it's fan back on track, it needs to better handling on the business.side of things... What's the probability of everything that Intel needs to do gets done.....give. it's track record of making good decisions lately....

Compare that was AMDs current execution.....

the other good news is that while trade tarriffs seem to be doing a fine and dandy job unemploying folks at GE , GM, Ford, Harley Davidson, Alcoa, farms, etc......

İt's also going to make it even more difficult for Intel to sell Xeon server chips to China.....on top of an already limiting export restriction in place...

Meanwhile , AMD won't have this problem with their super cool business arrangement they hammered out with a Chinese company they own 51% of.... to make Epyc server chip clones specifically for the Chinese data center market, of which AMD gets percentage of the sales of those Epyc clones.....all while dancing around the x86 licensing issues and US export restrictions.

lol.

great news, that means spouses here probably can qualify for EBT and the reset of us can pay for it, instead of these spouses working and paying taxes into the system.....oh wait....
